Hi! I'm Rowan, my pronouns are they/them, and I'm putting this site together as a little hub for my interests and as a way to practice HTML/CSS! I really love old sci-fi, women, and creating things. In particular, making fanart, fanfiction, fanvids, and so on are some of my favorite ways to engage with fandom.

Bigger sites like Tumblr and deviantART have given me (mostly) wonderful experiences in fandom, but I worry about being too tethered to one space given how much censorship and enshittification is on the rise. It seemed like a good idea to give myself my own little corner of the web to combat that a bit. Plus, I really adore looking at older websites dedicated to TV shows from the 90s and early 2000s. So I'm really excited to be able to participate in that in my own small way!

Updates

Dec-3-25.Started a shrine page for Brigid O'Reilly from Cloak & Dagger and started redoing a bunch of my main pages because I can never settle on a layout.

Nov-24-2025. Started putting together a Wiki page template to eventually fill with OC info! I don't really do much with my own OCs, honestly, so I'm morerover using my site as a motivator TO figure out more so that I have actual content to house on here, lol. I probably do more with fandom OCs than anything, but I feel like I'll be housing those more in my shrines to those fandoms??? Idk.

Nov-22-2025. Cleaning up my shoddy HTML and CSS. I'm trying to avoid redoing the site from scratch, but I didn't reeeeeally know what I was doing when I first put this together and now editing it is excruciating, lol. So I'm adjusting my class names and details plus adding CSS variables, which may be helpful if I ever want to do a theme switcher. I also edit from a few different computers so I'm trying to make the site more functional across different dimensions. Next up is cleaning up my messy flexbox usage so I can actually get this place mobile responsive, oops.

Nov-19-2025. Made a couple quick aesthetic changes to the main site (it is sooo very in-progress) and started a page for Yellowjackets, but it's much more critical than a fansite.

Nov-14-2025. Started a quick page for Terra Nova. The more I learn the more I want to restart the main site's design from the ground up, but as evidenced by weeks between updates I have not had much time.

Oct-28-2025. Started an extremely in-progress shrine page for Hell Girl. I find so many cool shrines and sites for anime out there that I think it would be neat to do some little tributes to ones that have been meaningful to me!

Oct-21-2025. Made a few layout adjustments and started a small shrine page for Earth 2. But I'm still just working on the 1000xRESIST site! The Cryptipedia page is still in-progress, but most of that is me compiling information to later put in so it'll look like not much is going on for a while.

Oct-13-2025. I started a fansite for the game 1000xRESIST! I'm not sure if I'll keep that URL or not, but I'm having a really good time with it and I've learned a few new things (CSS variables, JavaScript nav bar, and random quote generator.

Oct-8-2025. Focusing a ton on a Cryptipedia page project as a tribute to The Secret Saturdays. This taught me how to use JavaScript to make the buttons pull up a new cryptid each time!!! Still in progress.

I'm not sure what to put here just yet! Just leaving it open for now... maybe a widget for some fun facts or the current phase of the moon or something?
